SCHEDULE A LIVE BURN.
The burn building is closed to live burns from December 1st to April 1st to prevent damage due to cold weather. The building will be available for other evolutions.
Our burn building is available for fire departments to gain valuable firefighting skills and live training. The building has three floors with multiple burn rooms. Many props have been built into the structure.
Usage fees: Live fire training is $625 for 4 hours. Fees includes 3 instructors serving as 2 burn officers and a safety officer. Straw, pallets, and materials for the forcible entry doors will also be provided. A $100 an hour fee will be charged for utilizing the roof ventilation props or departments can provide their own materials and pay a $10 a hour facility fee. Use of the forcible entry prop without a live burn is $75 an hour to include one instructor and materials. Non-live fire training is $40 an hour for the first instructor plus a $10 an hour facility fee. Additional instructors are available at an hourly rate of $40/instructor.
