County Coordinators

The Litchfield County Coordinators operate under the Connecticut Fire Rescue Disaster Plan and are tasked with being a resource to the incident commander to:

  • Provide access to County, Regional, and State Assets (see regional asset page)

  • Organize and execute the movement of strike teams & task forces of firefighting resources

  • Maintain an inventory of available equipment and personnel available to be deployed in the case of an emergency

  • Assist in the development of emergency plans such as alarm assignments, communications plans, etc.

  • Act as a staff officer under an incident commander where local command staff is limited
